Some clarity on Reddit bans: IP types and browsers

Are you doing this all manually? When do you actually start making comments? Sounds like you're spending many hours a day on Reddit.

Is Reddit still good for driving traffic?

It was amazing! I made thousands over the last 18 months, then they turned their spam filters up to 11 and everything has gone to shit. I can't make a post with even a hint of promotion in it without getting banned now. I think it's time to try something else and hope Reddit bankrupts itself...

Where are you finding people to delegate tasks to?

I tried posting in job groups, and didn't get a single reply. I could be using the wrong groups though, do you have any specific groups in mind I could try? I've tried this, in fact it was my main mode of operation. I'd get Claude to write the post and tell the worker where to post it. Hiring...

Where are you finding people to delegate tasks to?

Ah thanks, not heard of rapid workers and pico workers. I'll take a look at them. What is HAF?

Where are you finding people to delegate tasks to?

I used Microworkers before and picked up a couple of long term workers that way. That all got wiped out last month, I'm back to square one. I've put a new task up on Microworkers and I've received no takers. I think reddit's recent spam filters are affecting that too, because I used to get...

Will I get a boost by translating?

I've got a site that's getting on for three years old. It's got a DA of 22. I've let it sit in the English serps, and it ranks page one in various different positions for the keywords I've targetted. I've spotted an opportunity for it in another language, so I've cloned the site onto a sub...

Cant login to bought acccounts / create new accs getting server error all the time

You need a new email, new proxy, antidetect with a random finger print all on one profile. Log in, warm up, but even that is no guarantee. Reddit has implemented LLMs to filter for spam across the site bow, any whiff of a promo will have you banned almost instantly.

Reddit is now forcing users to log in to read their posts (terrible for a parasite?)

Yeah I've been seeing this on every post I look at. Even if you block the element with ublock, the page still stops scrolling, so you can't read further anyway. This popup appears on mobile and desktop. It's a real shot in the foot for Reddit, IMO, and has been for my method of using it as a...

Is the Massive Wave of Reddit Bans beginning?

What irks me about this is the arbitrary nature of it. If my posts were generally unrelated spam, why were they allowed for 18 months? And why did I get thousands of people to my site as a result if my posts were so unhelpful in Reddit's eyes? If they want to make money, then let people pay to...

Is the Massive Wave of Reddit Bans beginning?

This is a lousy take. Reddit has itself expressly permitted you can make promo comments, provided you don't go overboard and actually contribute more generally. I was doing this for 18 months, was pretty successful at it, no problems, bans or shadow bans. Suddenly it changes, no warning...

    Impossible to use reddit

Their revenue has actually increased this year. The stock is down because they're getting less search referrals due to ai overviews on Google. Loads of people search for reddit on Google but never actually sign up. I think that's why these annoying popups have started happening to force you to...

Has Reddit Become More Difficult to Work With in 2026?

Definitely much stricter, and has got much more so since they rolled out their use of LLMs in spam detection a month ago. I had a four week old account, no promo posts, 500 karma. I sent one PM to someone asking if they wanted to make posts for me, I didn't even mention Reddit, and my account...

    Impossible to use reddit

Reddit seems to have this really locked down now, for the time being at least. I had two accounts on dolphin browser profiles, each with separate residential proxies. One got banned a couple of weeks ago, which I sort of expected to happen. The other one was three weeks old, 500 karma, I didn't...
