That's pretty much my thoughts exactly except that I would also recommend you to always test a gig before using it to your money site cause after all, you'll never know what kind of crap you may run into at Fiverr.

I stopped giving a sh*t about these updates long time ago.. I just do what I've always done, build content and get backlinks (from various sources). Some of my sites do well while others go nowhere, so what? It's enough for me that some of my websites bring home the bacon :beer: G00gle rankings...

I looked at the PR web website and just can't figure out how you spent 1500 per one press release, please clarify.

Go with some HQ press releases. There you can place links to those inner pages, which has helped a lot with my website's rankings and you'll also get some direct traffic because many of those HQ press releases gets a lot of traffic from G.

How much are you making now from that site?

I agree with Williamk, for forums branded names are the best, sort of names that people can remember really easily. In my country the biggest forums have very branded domain names and those names really have no search volume what so ever, well except of course after those forums got really big...

If you have very few backlinks to your site/your site is relatively new, that gig can probably only hurt your rankings. Just search this forum on different link building methods and build HQ backlinks manually before even thinking of buying that sort of gigs.

Agreed, I've never used GWT either and have been happy without it.
