hi guys, i have trouble with my a homepage of mine. It was my first homepage and there was shitload of work put in. On part of that was writing a bunch of high quality niche related content. As things are going the whole site got panda and penguin penalized or whatever. It lost all it rankings...

I don't think so. How would G know what is relevant to a certain topic. Nearly everything can be relevant to another topic. And even if it is not relevant today it is maybe tomorrow. Nevertheless i think contextual high pr links work good ;).
