Google doesn't seem to give much credit to exact or partial match URLs anymore. It is more important that the domain is quality and that it works for your site. In general though people don't seem to like more than one hyphen in a URL. A lot of spam domains back in the exact match URL jackpot...

Freelancing web design is a rough and cheap business. Clients trying to cheat you, tons of competition, and lots of hustle required. I used to do it as a large part of my income stream back in the day and it was a giant headache. If you're going to do it, jump in a toe at a time is my advice...
