PPD is way more easier to setup. When going into CPA you need to take care of alot of things like, get the right traffic make sure it won't get you into trouble... for example if you get like 200 clicks and no revenue your affiliates will start thinking what you're doing as suspicious and fake...

I really don't see why you would see this as an issue, you should be happy with followers... that's what they're there for. You should worry about the guys having a username slightly like yours who might want to steal your traffic, not the ones who likes your content
