did you try searching site:yoursite.com? You could try doing more internal linking if it still won't show up, or just generate a sitemap and submit on google search console.

I've not seen any value in multiple backlinks from a single site. A single one will do.

I mean if they still have backlinks pointed at them they really shouldn't be any different but someone can correct me if I'm mistaken

Yeah I'm noticing some of the insanely low priced backlink packages on the marketplace. No chance somebody is selling a quality backlink for a 1 time fee (could end the sentence there) for $4. Just wouldn't be worth the time for the seller.
