I doubt many of us could write an article in 10 minutes. It takes me MUCH longer to type out by hand. I have started using Dragon though and can now do an article in less than 20 minutes. You're right that spinning takes a lot longer than than. I gave it up for Dragon.

That's called syndicated content. Yes you can use it. News orgs do it all the time. Duplicate content is identical, or near identical content on your own website.

There is a really good online service that works just like artisteer I can't add links just try "cool template" It really does an amazing job. I have artisteer and use it, but this is practically the same thing--and it's free!
