i have been using zencart for years on a few of my stores. zencart in combination with magneticone and you cant go wrong. zencart is not the easiest to set up but in my opinion its worth it.

looks to me like your putting your image or code between the wrong <div> tags. you can have multiple <div> tags on for just one section. id say open your file up in dreamweaver (if you have it) or install the firefox addon firebug and look at the code and the design at the same time...
