Twitter has banned us from using their Oauth API, so we came up with an alternative that uses CURL to do the Twitter login and follow through mobile twitter.
This works great, but we need to use proxies in our CURL functions, because Twitter also has a limit of requests that an IP can do on...
Ok well will be a few weeks before we finish the site, will integrate twitter, digg and youtube, hopefully things should pick up, facebook is going pretty well at the moment for us, and the websites section :)
Twitter banned our use of the API saying we broke their terms, not really..anyone know how twiends can get away with this?
We can still keep the twitter system but people will have to login with their accounts on our site, do you think we should implement this?
Also autosurf is for premium...
Yeah we are still developing and improving, to be honest the site is only about 50% complete, but we wanted to keep to schedule and release, even if its in beta..
Twitter will be back shortly.
lol no, we just moving to a new server at the moment, to the domain is redirecting to that which will take a few hours, kinda annoying really, should have prepared for this kind of traffic :(
Yeah we soft launched, but still have a ton of work to do, site is working atm but we are continuing to work on it until the whole thing is finished, should only be a few days until its fully complete :)
Hey glad you guys are talking about us, indeed we launch 1st June, we have a really nice design and system in place, and already thousands of people have pre-registered to be part of the twimates community :)
Hey, its Twimates here..
Its a long story which probably requires a longer post, however indeed one of our staff has indeed used our email list and spammed the users that had pre-registered with his own offer of twiends seeds.
This was no way affiliated with Twimates, we are a legimate site...
