Thanks all, this is very helpful. Any info on what the best tools to proxy hunt/port scan are? Angry IP scanner (v3.0-beta6) is very slow and I haven't been able to get it to seamlessly blend in Charon. I have to export my findings into Excel and append the ports by hand. :(

Thanks for head's up. I read somewhere in one of proxygo's threads that he's scanned for years without issue, but maybe he's doing it differently than I am. I'm using a VPS. Ideally I'd be using YAPH too, but I really have no clue how to use that yet.

Thanks Beny! I'll be sure to do those as soon as my current scan ends. Also, if there is a YAPH for Dummies tutorial anywhere I'd love to read it. Never used Unix/Cygwin or the program before but I'd love to learn how.

Hi, I've started scanning IP's with Angry IP Scanner/Charon to find good anonymous proxies and while I've had some success I want to learn more. Does any one know of a guide or have any tips on how to do this efficiently/effectively? I'm sure someone's got to have some experience. Thanks!

Yes you should worry. If your traffic is truly SE driven and white hat then you don't have CTR's that high. I'm guessing you have an MFA site which still works in some cases but will eventually get banned. A CTR of 15% is way too high. You are headed for a ban. If you want to buy traffic it...

Of course it's OK! The more unique and relevant content is the better. But as everyone has said, make sure that it's readable. If you use TBS, try to get uniqueness to about 70%.
