Im lost sorry, is there a program i can use to ping a blog that is updated and if so do i simply enter the command ping www.websiteblog.com/index2.html

Hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to ping certain urls. I used the command prompt applications, then typed for example, ping www.site.com/123/123/123.html and it won't work, should i be using another program or command? Thanks
