It is so strange and arbitrary the different features and sheer amount of account differences tiktok has between users.

People say shadowbans are temporary but they can definitely be permanent in my experience.

I mean, it's possible. They're asking for a lot more than a normal 2FA in this circumstance, but it would certainly help prevent it. I've bought a couple of Tiktok accounts though and I've never had this specific issue. (I've had different, equally as frustrating issues though)
