Could you give any tips how to target niches with low CPC? I've already tried to target niches with very low competition (30k-130k size) and all I get is $0.3+ CPC... I wish to achieve at least $0.05, because this way it eats up whole budget pretty fast.

To be honest I don't really care about bounce rate, because it does not have impact for rankings. Normally this type of website (blogs) has 60%-80% bounce rate. I can make it to be 10%, but it is just a number IMHO :)

One long tail keyword is nothing. Target 100 different long tail keywords and you'll see results :) 390 searches is enough IMO (if no/small competition).

Rankings does not depend on PR, stop telling rumors. Your keywords must be easy to rank if it ranks to top1 with no/couple backlinks. I don't believe this journey is real, but I don't really care, it's up to him.
