New development....after making all of the changes as directed in this post and NOT restarting (after it ask if you want to restart now I hit cancel) my internet speed is super fast and I posted on sb faster than ever before. Its is only AFTER I restart that my connection speed gets cut in...

Hello.... After making these changes and testing my internet connection speed after restarting, it seems to have been cut in half.....meaning 1/2 as slow . I am def not super technical but I followed the directions. Any common reason this may have happened?
