Since this issue has come up again and I previously complained about this I thought it only fair to do an update: April - 65% alive / 35% dead May - 68% alive / 32% dead June - 63% alive / 37% dead July - 56% alive / 44% dead Aug - 66% alive / 34% dead This shows that things are getting better...

Just checking in to give Greg and Kevin kudos as many of the dead links I complained about are coming back as they're moving to the new servers. Also seeing more/different domains in my newer pushes. Thanks guys! :D

OK - I just sat down so send some links to one of my previous pushes. Hand checked the 23 PN Blogs for this push and only 1 is live. The 1 that is live only contains 1 link, which is to another link that is dead. Of the 14 Web 2.0 properties listed, 7 are dead. Of the 7 that are live, 3...

What does 'propping them up' mean to you??

As I mentioned in my previous post, you have to run Alive Check a few times, until it stops adding to the live count. Otherwise - please let me know an accurate way to check for dead links, I'd really appreciate it, as I, like others, do not want to waste my time sending link juice to dead links.

Do you use the Alive Check add on in SB? Also, Greg has admitted that a lot of the dead links I'm seeing are in fact dead, as those are domains they've taken down and are moving to new servers - so the 50%-60% dead links I'm seeing is probably fairly accurate... at least for now. Thanks for...
