I’m just gonna update time to time. No contact yet still. Best I can tell I withdrew the funds in March 2022. The chargebacks put the account in negative between April and May. Last time I was allowed to login was June 2022. So it’s coming up close to two years now.
Thank you. That was kind of my thought also. Although the releasable card does have my name on the from. It’s just a prepaid Visa card in the end. Seems like a safe place to get paid to protect my money while I ultimately try and work something out with the agency in the end. I’m honestly...
Ok I have a question for you, or anyone that might know.
PayPal is still not willing to work with me. So this is going to goto collections then surely court. I know I’m the end since I’m in Texas there isn’t much they can ultimately do even after judgement except freeze my bank account. Which...
I plan to wait a couple days and call PayPal back again. I’m going to start with a simple payment to my debt today though. Maybe just $25 just to show to has movement on it. I’m all honesty I didn’t even mean to say fuck it and ignore it. I got involved with life. Had a couple medical issues...
I really appreciate all the advice. I’m not sure if it’s causing an interest to get in on it. As those are the fees they put on there for chargebacks. Because I think they put about three grand in fees on chargebacks alone from my simple math.
It was buying and reselling collectibles. we were able to buy in bulk and sell them. The problem became the way the business was set up. So the payments would come out, and we would sit basically in limbo for a three week period while everything was waiting to clear. This is the point in time...
OK, I finally got PayPal on the phone. They said they do not take payments but if I make small payments towards that negative balance, they’re less likely to turn it over to a collection agency but they couldn’t tell me that they wouldn’t. Which to me sounds like they just want to get a little...
Although I’d love to be able to pay them back on one year I simply cannot. I do not have the financial situation to be able to do that. I am again on hold today but I think I am just going to have to wait for this to goto court.
Problem is unless they let me do a reasonable payment plan this will just end up in court anyhow. So I’m torn what to actually do. Also I’m not sitting on hold any longer. I sat on hold almost two hours
I logged into PayPal to see about contacting them for a payment plan. The debt shows 16k. That doesn’t even make sense. It should have been about 10.8. Then when I tried to contact them the machine stated it was already turned over to a partner. And the wait time was over an hour to speak……..
Nothing yet. I wouldn’t expect to hear anything till years end. Maybe a debt collector. I have checked with the law though. Texas seems to be a great place for this. They cannot garnish my wages or take my home or card anything in the home even (up to 100k). I sorta feel bad for the collection...
Unfortunately the accident was my wife fault. So insurance was giving us hell to get the vehicle fixed at all. I’m in Texas and the law will not allow wage garnishments for debts except child support. So they cannot garnish my wages. ♂️ And wow, that’s horrible they still banned you even...
Thank you again for all the replies. I’ve just walked away from this….. right or wrong not here for a moral debate. I’m just curious what the ends will be. None of the info PayPal had from my phone number to address to even an open bank account is at all accurate any longer. ♂️
I appreciate all replies. And I do appreciate the humor in the Mexican mafia lol. I was just wondering if in situations like this y’all and heard what the outcome ended up being.
Hello all. I would love any and all advice on this. Long story semi-short. Had a successful run selling items on a website with PayPal that was used for the payments. Average customer was buying items for $300-$500. Recently chaos hit the personal life. We had the orders ready to go out in two...
