Most of the money I earn from Clickbank is for a product that went to another platform years ago. It's not much and shrinking but still nice to have a bit of extra cash every month. I didn't set out to target rebills but just stumbled across it.
They cancelled all my rebills with one vendor last month, the latest in a series of obstacles I've run into with Clickbank over the past year. I'm still having success promoting one product but for the most part have moved on, mostly because they forced me to do so.
The reaction (perhaps overreaction) was warranted. It remains to be seen how this will all play out, but this is at least a step in the right direction.
They dropped most of the products I was promoting, some of which moved elsewhere and some that just died. I never worried about refunds, although I never really had very many.
I've been able to transition so overall I have not seen much impact, but as far as Clickbank, my sales are just about dead. I think I'm still promoting 2 products that aren't dead, but the sales I get with them are pretty close to irrelevant.
I don't scroll down that far any more so I didn't even see it. I have no sales and 0% chargebacks/refunds. Well, that's not right. But pretty good percentages.
A few times a day if I happen to be doing a lot with it, but only once a day now.
Back in the day when Google was still relevant to me, I used SysSense, which updated Adsense every 20 minutes on my taskbar until it one day a few years ago stopped working and the developer didn't want to be...
I receive faxes regularly. Many of them come right to my e-mail, and many are from random customers I don't know and never gave my info to (I don't even know how to fax my e-mail). I don't understand why people use them any more either. Then again, from time to time, I'll call people and get a...
Gravity rates have fallen through the floor (down over 90% in the past month), so I take it that most people have either moved on or just stopped altogether. It sounds like pretty soon there won't be much choice.
The fact that they are naming chargeback rates as the problem does pose an...
Yes, it is that specific niche. No problem with anything else I am promoting. My take on the situation was that they got threatened by Visa (could be chargebacks/refunds or also regulatory concerns are a plausible explanation) and are now taking the action proactively to avoid the same problem...
A few weeks ago, they cancelled all subscriptions using Visa all on the same day (some of my cancelled subscriptions had been active for over 2 years, and my predicted refund rate was 8% back before that feature was removed). They now seem to be retroactively refunding all Visa transactions for...
On top of the fact that this is a slow time of year for me, I had problems last year when they changed their landing pages and never recovered to the same level. I'm not sure they have made any changes recently. In some cases, they are no longer accepting Visa, but I don't think it's wide...
I have had refunds go back over a year and regularly see them over 60 days. It's an interesting stat that I did not notice, but there is room to maneuver.
Same here. I am wondering if they buried it somewhere, but I don't see it. I always thought the whole algorithm was wonky, but it was nice information to have either to know they consider you to be doing well or not so well. I do think it should be readily available if they are going to use it...
