Buying a Reddit account isn't the worst ideas as long as you don't make too many changes after you buy the account and keep your postings as natural as possible. A sudden change in email/password or posting a different kind than the account history may lead to account suspension.
It is happening with some of my accounts as well. I think there is some automated system happening in the background which is the cause of this. I post a comment from one account and it disappears and I post the same kind of comment from another account and it stays live.
I agree, links on strong inner pages with real traffic often push rankings faster. Homepage links are good for branding, but inner pages can give more direct SEO value.
They are working but you should only post on relevant blogs and use original content only. If there is a blog/website where you find all kinds of content on almost every topic, you shouldn't be doing guest posts on such blogs/websites.

It is always better to start your own channel from scratch. Buying a YT channel isn't gonna work all the time, especially if your niche is different than the one which was already on that particular channel.
Check out MuLogin, Incogniton, or AdsPower for anti-detect setups. For virtual mobile environments, try Genymotion or VPhoneGaGa. Combine with proxies and user-agent spoofing for better results.
I don't think YouTube allows this practice. I have seen a few sports highlights channels in the past doing this and now those channels have been suspended.
In order to be on the safer side. You should never use the same IP again and try to use anti-detect browser with a unique IP for each Reddit account. Reddit can be a big headache, especially with the new accounts.
