I'm now floating bottom of page 1 / top of 2.. which is pretty awesome considering I had no search engine work done to my site before. Jclz tells me that further gains are to come.. so it's now just a waiting game :D Will report back any further changes!

Possible 301 redirect, but sometimes you have to wait a while for google to update its serps
