Did your channel average view duration be affected by shorts? If videos duration are 15 or 30 seconds... I'm afraid this can affect negatively to the channel.

Now YouTube considers SHORTS as a separate source of visits. At the moment, monetizing such short videos is not allowed and it is not known how this affects the average View Duration of the channel.

It is difficult to know. I once did an experiment translating 1 video with a keyword of null competition and youtube did not index the translations.

There's a youtube channel called "breakingcopyright" with hundreds of copyright free songs. The only limitation is that you've to give credits to the artists of each song.

Those numbers are normal. I run a medium sized YouTube channel and I've 0.6% open rate. It's difficult to redirect people from one video to another.
