That really has nothing to do with what I'm saying. You don't have to hold anyones hand. I'm just questioning why people are so rude. It's amazing that people are trying to rationalize why its okay to be rude. Thanks for your reply. (And Daft Punk rules!)
I'm so glad you used the word "train" because I think the general opinion against my OP is that we must use negativity to "train" newbies not to start unnecessary threads. The truth is that positive reinforcement always works better. It been proven time and time again. Any psychologist or...
And a good way to communicate that to someone who is doing such things, is to simply explain it as you just did. I'm not saying newbies should be spoon fed. I learned almost everything the hard way too. I'm just suggesting that maybe someone who is still learning doesn't deserve to be belittled...
Yes, It's necessary to keep the unnecessary threads reduced. I'm not objecting to that. It's not necessary to belittle. But I liked your reply! Very well thought out. :)
He didn't get to me I'm just trying to reach people. I believe people can change for the better if they are influenced. Not everyone, but some. But your advice rings true.
Thank you! I appreciate that. Maybe I'm just sensitive but there have been times when I have not wanted to use this site anymore because of all the bad vibes. But you're right. I won't let that affect me. It's a great site for learning, regardless. Thanks again! :)
So if you see a question that's been asked a million times you can't just let it go? You have to belittle the person asking? I saw a reply earlier that was absurd. The person asked the OP a question that was literally explained in the first sentence of the thread. Did I call the guy an idiot...
Okay, fine but when I see a question I've seen before I don't jump down their throat. I just read something else. How hard is that? And this isn't the easiest site to learn for someone that is new, ya know. Just sayin'.
You know I just don't understand why people are so rude to each other on this site. Really. What's that all about? People calling each other idiots because they haven't read thousands of threads of information, or because they have a question that all of us needed answered at one point or...
