YMYL in Google's eye seems very general and covers a lot of things. I have not seen any CPA or affiliated sites get penalized under the rule. I'm unsure about the other.

It's a business site, I did a few general profile link-building. The majority of the link started about two years ago, and I have been doing it drip-feed. I'm in the home improvement verticle and the competition is steep for keywords I like to rank for.

Ranking flucturate more than before. My rank used to flucturate within 15-20, now moves between 20-35. I'm assuming it will stablize in a month or so.
