I tried this, 301d to a new domain. The new domain suddenly ranked in place of where the old one was before penalty. Things looked great. After about 10 days however, the new site got the same penalty.

Why don't you just load the affiliate link in an iframe over the top of your page? Cloak it so it only displays for Windows users or something like that... Seems smarter and you can leave it up permanently.

Put this on your website in the head section It will only allow Googlebot to index the page, any fake googlebots including proxied googlebots will not get indexed. This happened to a PR6 site of mine recently, it's been out of serps for 2 months now.. waiting for Google to reindex the proxy...

I've had a site go from page 2, do an article or bookmark blast, drop for 4-5 weeks to page 50, then bounce back at #2 page 1. Dont worry about it, build something else in your downtime and stop panicking.

Beatable, a lot of the pages run off the authority of the main domain and have no links to them. You can beat anything with enough effort matey

From what I can tell it passes through maybe 70-80% of the juice. Sometimes it takes a lot longer to pass the juice through also. I would not rely on it solely
