Unfortunately it actually does work like that.....the reason being using even a clean, aged account for certain brands, they get shadow banned immediately. As a marketer I have seen this many times.

Recently, accounts doing brand mentions get banned. More alarming is using new/aged and even high karma accounts to do the same brand mentions will get those accounts banned. The question is; isn't this prone to a competitor just spamming your brand name and getting your brand banned on...
