We have used Jarvee in the past but we had alot of limitations. Decided to build our own. One of the problems was collecting emails beyond bio, we needed access to the mobile api calls that the app does.

In my experience, not any slower than any other language like js or java. I mean, ofc your code will be slower working with big datasets but I think python or R is the best when tryna work with big datasets. Its still faster than the other languages you can use especially JS.

So Idk if this is what you need but the way I'd do it is to just scrape all the followers from an IG account and geotag their location based off of post. You can use a location algorithm to triangulate a location given multiple geopoints as well as data from bio. Then filter and sort using that...

Only reason why building your own is better is because you know the ins and outs of the actions and how it works. So you would able to have complete control and customization.
