Search results

There are now 145 links showing up in my search console coming from news cites. Can links from news sites cause a penalty?

They are mainly on citations though and social listings

Even if they did 200 citations and 100 social all linking to my site in 2 weeks you still think that is ok?

The thing is the though Web20ranker are adamant that citations and social listings cant result in a penalty. Is this correct?

It is 12 months old. That isnt what happened. It is currently floating around pages 8-10. The keyords in that area arent even close to being optimized correctly.

My landing page is still indexed just on page 10, before it was on page 1. They linked directly to my URL. There was no keyword link. Yes there are a huge amount of shitty directories. They did 200 citations and 100 social accounts.

I placed the order and my site tanked 4 weeks later. Only my main page has tanked but it has my main two keywords on it. Yes they did try and force indexations of the citations. They specifically mentioned force indexer.

Thanks for the offer and i might take you up on it. Ill just let them (web20) see if they can diagnose first. They put up over 300 citations and social accounts linking to my site in less then 1 month though. They are adamant this will not cause any problems. Seems a bit weird to me.
