If that's the case anyway, wouldn't it be better for me to just do ecom and promote it? I already have experience in online selling, I have dropshipped in the past but I never had an ecom website and I am afraid I can't bring enough traffic just with shoutouts that's why I wanted to grow IG too.

I would prefer to not buy fake followers, it just doesn't seem right to me. The main strategy will always be follow/unfollow and keep reposting content until I reach critical mass and can grow organically.
