I post videos, friend. And I download them from OTHER platforms such as the Chinese tiktok

To illustrate my point, look at the screenshots of the growth graphs of two accounts owned by the same owner: Same owner, very similar contents, but vastly different video view counts resulting in vastly different follower gains. Why? Can any IG expert make sense of this?

Sure, I understand that. What I don't understand is why pages like @wodertime would have super loyal followers/high engagements when the owners don't seem to give a crap about their followers or even what they post, while the more carefully curated pages often fail to have similar success.

I suspected the same thing, but the growth looks real when checked with tools like igblade: the more views their videos have in any certain day, the more followers they gain for that day.

Don't panic, it's just another bug from instagram which has affected a lot of innocent people lately. And I bet as usual instagram won't provide any explanation, let alone apology, now or later. Just wait it out.
