Will play my own music on it, do playlist swaps with other big playlists, i will take their submissions and place on my playlist in exchange for them placing my song on theirs too, will maybe sell a slot or two.

Yeah but problem with this method is that in such way people do not interact with your playlist long term, i mean they dont listen to the songs cause you basically tricked them into following it, not too genuine. I've been chasing quantity instead quality all my life and i hate myself for that
From my personal experience i don't even think SEO gives you anything good on Spotify unless you are very creative like naming playlists after big song releases thats not on spotify or something like that.
