So the domain was registered to the person who died and not the business? What documentation have you sent to GoDaddy? Did the business owner have an invoice from the person who died to show the domain was registered on their behalf?

If you are using control panel redirect then make sure it is a 301 by examining headers when you visit the site or use an online tool if you don't know how to check yourself.

Had good results from combining this with Jack Sparrow, one site came from outside top 100 to page 5 and another up from page 4 to page 2 so the packages definitely provide a good boost. Sarkar has been quick to respond as well so happy to go again with another site :D
