Stripe told me to have the person who paid me (via the other person's account) to issue a chargeback with their bank, and that renting an account is against their terms & conditions, and others have told me it is illegal to offer this service in Europe (where this person is based).

They didn't add my bank account to their stripe account - they received the payment to their account, and the agreement was that they would then forward it to me, less their fee. Then they disappeared. My main concern here was actually not to discuss the scam, but rather to know about...

well, this is what Stripe told me to do, sorry if it's not to your liking I don't have Stripe available in my country of residence - the member accepted the payment for me through their stripe account, then failed to send it to my bank account.

I've already mentioned that Stripe has requested that I don't publicise the details of the issue until their investigation is complete. If I open a dispute thread, I would need to display screenshots, which could disclose the person's identity.

The point here was simply to find freelance sites paying in crypto - not begging, and not making a dispute, sorry if it sounded like either ... I am assuming no-one knows of any such sites?

Easier said than done, when it's a life and death situation (literally) - I live in a country where all bank accounts have been frozen, there are zero social services, etc etc. If I was living in my homeland, I would think the same way.

It was involving fraud with Stripe, so they are taking it seriously, which is why I would prefer not to give details at this stage. If anyone wants to know the username so they can avoid this person, pm me. Hoping someone might of online writing jobs that will pay in bitcoin?
