    Yes, you would get a new IP assigned. And most mobile carriers do offer dynamic IP's, so you will not be using one for a long time. To check whether you do have static of dynamic - simply turn on and off plane mode. Check the IP before and afterward on ipleak.

    Well, going for copying and using its name is most likely going to court. Since you could steal quite some traffic, because of the name. They have worked to get it and you would just rip some. Going for a close competing product would be the way to go for sure.
