I need to host three courses, one free and two paid and I'm currently looking at online hosting sites such as teachable and thinkific. Has anyone used either of these or an alternative platform and have feedback to help my decision-making process?

There has to be desire, a 'what's in it for me' for individuals to change their behaviour and move across to your forum. And that has to be sustained through active management. There's often an impression that forums run themselves, I'm sure the mods here will tell you otherwise!

As an easy introduction try 'Don't Shoot the Dog' by Karen Pryor. Despite the title it focuses mainly on human behaviour and how through positive interactions you can get more of the behaviour you would like from someone.
Not looking for a quick buck or a scheme which will have me 'living the dream'. Instead I'm looking to glean information and understand how it all fits together to perhaps earn a reasonable living. Time to get reading......
