it depends on your 'niche' skills, some people are more easier to create 'viral reply' that people will reply and retweet, while other is more towards creating a new thread for enaggement farming

hoesntly, i feel nowadays a lot of those 'ragebaiting' post turns out to be getting massive engagement. as they always say, bad marketing is still marketing

i think its more of the social proofing of the post, tag and engagement - in my case i've post from months ago thats constantly getting views still

depends on your niche marketing - personally feel if you're into arts and traditional meme and quotes from movie, tumblr is still a v valuable platform.

i think with the short attention span of the new generation, i think the thumbnail and the first 3 seconds of 'click bait' works most effective. e.g. DIML of a millionaire farmer, Run to xxx for $5 smoothie

end of the day - what do u need the connection for? unless u have a target/goal to be a linkedin top vocie/speaker, then yes - the engagement farming works. however if you're geniunely finding industry aligned folks, this might not be the best idea

i personally find it getting way too personalized and realistic, that sometimes i even accidentally click into an ad, thinking it was a post response.

i strongly believe education need a full revamp - instead of the usually memorize and regurgitate out the content, we will to educate our future generaiton on critical thinking that enables them to differentiate whast right and wrong.
