Pinterest dead!? Of course not! No doubt, it's a bit more difficult to obtain Follow backs due to Pinterest updates etc. This is normal and to be expected.

As far as I know, you can no-longer use Clickbank hop links in your pins without it being blocked. Other than that, yeah, Pinterest has never been so good for affiliate marketing.

What type of products are you promoting? Using FB ads to direct the traffic to an FB domain? yes it's cheaper.

First, check with the affiliate program to see if FB traffic is accepted. You may promote affiliate offers on Fb but remember to cloak your links with a service such as Bitly. Good luck.

Pinterest has never been such ha good time for affiliate marketing. By the way, as far as i know, you can't promote click-bank offers via Pinterest. Amazon works like a treat though if you can gather targeted traffic to the amazon offer.
