Is there no chance of altering the domain slightly so you can get the .COM? If not, then .NET. But seriously, try and get the .COM.

I suspect malware has added lines to the C:\WINDOWS\I386\hosts (no extension) file. Open the file in notepad, and paste the EXACT contents here (preferably in a code tag). This can indeed be really annoying, but fortunately, it's easy to fix. I might be wrong though, so paste that file here.
