It depends on the shortener. Some allow Direct linking, which would register as "No Referer" on the destination site, some show the actual link that the shortener provides.

Hey all, sorry, I forgot I posted here. It's a solution I've been working on using legitimate looking sites with content as the redirect in kind of a link-wheel / ring. I can generate thousands of sites in a few clicks, or pass the script along to others. I'm not sure if I am selling the script...

Does anyone have a need for changing your referring URL? If so, I have a solution for this. Post in this thread and I'll reach out once it's in Beta.

You can usually find the RSS feed at: http://www.site.com/external.php?type=RSS2 I believe there are some other params you can pass that will point the results to specific forums. You can search around vbulletin dot org for variations or modifications. Hope that helps.
