Its 50/50 - i show my face in half of them and half of them are just video compilations with my voice over. I think it is okay to make slideshow / compilation of other videos and clips but you must add some kind of value into it (for example original commentary).

You are not making money based on how many views you have. Its more about how many people engaged with the ads on your videos (by engagement i mean how many people clicked the ad on your video or watched video ad for more than 30 seconds). If you will buy views from panels, they will not engage...
