There's a drop down menu to select your country, so I have it on +1 for USA. I see a ton of people have this problem with Microsoft accounts. Don't know why they make it so difficult just to access my email address.

Are you sure? Because I made 3 and none work. There must be a reason hotmail won't send to them.
