Still, what are the fundamentals? lets say I sign up to an affiliate network, now what? how do I get specific traffic? where do I get the traffic to go to? etc etc... People here talk about so many platforms and so many techniques its genuinely confusing, I need to understand the basics first...

But again, varied info from varied skill levels, is there a trustworthy place to start learning from, a place which teaches the basics and fundamentals?
