Got links from giveaway. In one of the sites DA is above 40. Backlinks are really strong, now i am waiting for google to index them so i can see what they can do. Will post results soon.

It can be nice diversification of links. You can also place a link in description of the blog, then it will be normal d0follow link.

It is because of meta refresh. Tumblr introduced this feature few weeks ago. I used to build expired tumblrs few months ago but after tumblr update all links from tumblr also disappeard from my google webmaster tools.

Are you sure about that? I tested it today on my expired tumblrs with many various themes and links were always meta refreshed.
