run a blog ON THE WEBSITE with happenings in the community with images marked up and use his author tag there.
post a couple of local images of the business and the area using google+ in blog posts.
Put the +1 google badge...

Beyond the no logo for branding and no social media hookups on the home page you have no schema for google to rich snippet you. Try not to talk about yourself in your meta description but talk about what your customer needs, **hint: ask a question that...

Interesting post but I think this is a little over the top unless a site is habitually stealing images and copying word for word recipe content from other sites.
Ask permission to use the info and offer to provide a back link is the best policy.
totally agree with mudbutt. Doing something so obvious and blatant is just asking to get caught. Never leave a trail your competitor can easily see if your going to attempt this.

btw great set of scripts. Spent 3 days on manual entry with this great site and so far....just 1 hour this runs like a top... and unless I missed something we just need a Google+ feature for pages not authors.
