one of the keys I learned is to help other webmasters. If you know your target try to help other webmasters to make their website better and hopefully get a link for it. What it can be depends on your skills and what the website need to improve.

it might affect your ranking. If I take use one hoster than at least I want to have different c-class IPs. There are a few out there offering that. Thought I havent found a hosting yet where im 100% satisfied
