Anyone using GSA on Windows Server 2012 Standard x64? I'm moving to a new dedicated server and I can't seem to find my 2008 license, so I might as well go with 2012.
Hey s4nt0s,
I was under the impression that we are allowed to run 2 instances of GSA from 1 license. I finally got around to installing GSA on my other VPS but it's not accepting my license key. I.e. it's not coming off of demo/trial mode. Any ideas?
With GSA, use CS and DBC as a fallback depending on your campaign settings. CS also has an additional 30-32 more captcha types specifically for the platforms GSA is able to hit. You have to manually add them, but it's worth it.
I've tried it quite a few times. Login seems to be no issue, just the mail doesn't seem to come through maybe? The host is megabyte hosting. I bought it specifically because A) it's cheap and I just use it for throwaway domains and B) they support catchall.
Ace,
I'm having trouble with the catchall setup. Manually I have tried my catchall and it works properly if I send a test message to any email address on the catchall. It properly goes into the target email account.
LWB can login to the target account but it's not able to find/retrieve the...
There's no cut & dry answer to this. You need to develop your own set of best practices and throw some randomness into the mix, because if you do everything the same way all the time in such an orchestrated manner you are going to get burned in the future.
A lot of what you're looking for is in...
Get a VPS. You can find some as cheap as $10-20/month that will run GSA just fine. I am using a barebones VPS with only 1GB of RAM but running it 24/7. It's not the fastest but it works.
I haven't used AMR in the longest time, so I can't comment on how successful you'll be with it.
With GSA I think having CS is worth it if you're planning on obtaining a lot of links.
For DBC, Decaptcher, etc. you don't order from within GSA. You only put your login credentials there. You...
I'm using CS and DBC on a VPS with 1GB of RAM with no crashes. GSA SER and GSA Indexer are running on both as well. SER is set to 50 threads and Indexer is at the default (10 threads). 1.5beta used to crash periodically (tesseract.exe) but with the new version it hasn't so far (knock on wood).
I have these integrated right now and they all show up in the User Defined section of CS. Very nifty.
Ever since I upgraded to the new version of Captcha Sniper my DeathByCaptcha use has decreased significantly. For the past week I've only had to burn about 1800 captchas across 7 projects...
Well, if there's a footprint that allows for detection of vbseo with vbulletin forums then it can be scraped, right? Have you submitted the idea to Sven?
Using it with GSA right now and it seems to have more checkboxes than before, so that's a good thing. There's also a user-defined Captcha section where someone has entered a captcha solver for "GSA - Unknown Guestbook 2". :)
EDIT: I can tell just from loading it that it seems to be a little bit...
