in my opinion the pursuit of backlinks just to boost their number is not so significant. it is more valuable to have one relevant link than many links without any relevance. in fact, i would pay more attention to the website itsself.
i would consider linkedIn to be a medium of building trust, rather than numbers. a few real connections made with founders nd prosspective clients could mean much more to me than even a couple of hundred contacts that i purchase or make.
i believe that in 2026 the issue will not be to get a website ranked but to maintain its stability. if there is the removal of websites in just a few days time, then this shows that the entire process needs to be revised. it would be better if a small but very helpful webssite is built.
my approach would be to use an easy before and after comparison. i would take down the current status of the impressions, positions, organic clicks nd the quality and quantity of the referring domain prior to the campaign nd then make the comparisson later on.
