I’m seeing the same pattern. AI content can rank, but the fully automated stuff tends to be the most fragile. Once you add manual editing, better structure, internal links, and some original input, it becomes a completely different quality level.
Still worth it, but I think the easy version of guest posting is dying.
I’m looking less at DR and more at whether the site has real rankings, relevant traffic, clean outbound links, and an actual audience. I’d rather get one link from a smaller niche site than five links from generic blogs...
I’d focus on relevance rather than a fixed number. If every page links to the same article, the structure can get noisy. Internal links should make the topic hierarchy clearer, not flatter everything.
