One thing that I keep harping on is internal linking. It’s easy, but if the structure of your site is neat, it can make quite an impact.

I'm generally at a 60/40 ratio for updating old posts, especially if there are already impresions on them. I think that new content is valuable but old posts with some authority might be more effective imo.
