For me, improving content around search intent made the biggest difference. I also found that better internal linking helped important pages perform more consistently.
My biggest mistake was focusing on backlinks before improving my site's content and structure. Once I prioritized quality content and internal linking, I started seeing much better long-term results!
I voted Important, but not everything. In my opinion, relevant backlinks still help, but they work best when combined with strong content, good on-page SEO, and a solid user experience. Quality always beats quantity.
