I tried that too.
Changed thumbnails, made good clickbait title, added and removed keywords.
I noticed that the videos perform even worse after this, for 2 - 3 days. After that, the channel comes back to it’s regular views.
I use blender 3d to animate complex engineering topics (even rendering takes me days) so it’s very difficult to upload regularly. Guess I’m cooked lol

That’s the problem. I was getting exposure previously from “browse features”
Now, all 11 videos combined get total impressions of less than 300 per day.
Videos are doing good for themselves (I’m getting likes) but since youtube is not pushing my videos, I’m stuck.
I created this youtube channel in Aug 2022 and posted a 12 min video (no description, no proper thumbnail) and then abandoned the channel.
In mid March 2024, I added relevant keywords to video description and starting mid April, the video showed tremendous growth in May (all natural).
