I've noticed it too. I guess Facebook's all about that ad revenue, but it's annoying when you're just trying to scroll through your feed without getting tempted to bet on something.

Instagram's algorithm can be a bit weird, but it seems like it's digging your pics with the ladies. Happened to me too – posted a pic with my dog, got a bunch of likes, added a friend in the next one, and bam, views went through the roof.
